What’s new
Every update, newest first. Versions before 1.0 are early access, before Minutes FC is on the App Store.
Version 0.3 Early access
27 September 2026
One phone runs the match; the rest of the coaching staff follow along.
New
- One phone runs the match. Whoever kicks off runs the clock and records everything. Other coaches on the team see the match on their own phones, updating as it syncs, with who's running it and when their phone last changed anything.
- Take over. If the runner's phone dies or they have to leave, one tap — after a yes — hands the match to your phone.
Version 0.2 Early access
26 September 2026
Match videos one tap from the match page, opponents' badges wherever they're listed, and an icon at full speed.
New
- Match videos. Add the link to a Veo recording or a YouTube upload — or any video — to a finished match, and it's one tap away on the match page. The links go into the match report you share, so the whole team can find them.
Improved
- A faster icon. The same stopwatch and player, now at full speed, with afterimages trailing behind him.
Fixed
- Opponents' badges now show on Home and in the list of matches, not only on the match itself.
Version 0.1 Early access
26 September 2026
The first early-access version of Minutes FC: pick the team in seconds, run the match from the touchline, and see everyone's minutes and stats as they happen.
New
- Lineups in seconds. Up to three positions for every player, then one tap for the best positions, even minutes, the players in form, or a chance to try new positions. Tap or drag players onto a real pitch in any shape, and save lineups you use often.
- A match screen for the sideline. A clock that keeps real time through a locked phone or a phone call, big buttons that say what they do, undo for anything, and a pitch, a list of names or the stats — whichever is easiest in the moment.
- Substitutions and minutes. Drag a substitute onto the player coming off, or tap one then the other. Every player's minutes count to the second, and the game time report shows the season's minutes by position, time in goal included.
- Your competition's rules. Formats from futsal to 11-a-side set once for the season, with changes for a single match. Extra time, golden goal, penalty shootouts, and a futsal clock that counts down.
- Cards, sin bins and injuries, by the rules. Second yellows, sin-bin countdowns and suspensions, and injured players who can come back on unless they're out for the match.
- Season stats. Results, form, top scorers, a record against every opponent and a page for every player, all built from what you tapped on the day and correctable at any time.
- Player cards for players and families, with their own games, minutes and goals, kept in their own iCloud.
- Your whole coaching staff. Up to five coaches and managers on a team, kept in step through iCloud.
- With Apple Intelligence, on your iPhone: the few things worth a look before kick-off, and a match report after full time in the style you choose.
- Your team, your way. Home and away kits with shorts, photos and badges framed as you like, the season's opponents with their own badges and kits, and names under the players however you want them.
- Share it. Lineup pictures for the group chat, match reports, spreadsheets of the season, and the match on the lock screen.
